The School District of University City seeks an outstanding Middle School Instructional Facilitator to join our District family. The successful candidate will be part of a high-energy team comprised of adolescent educators dedicated to continuous educational improvement for each student.
Qualifications: MO administrative certification, Master’s degree, five years of urban teaching experience and at least one year of teacher leadership experience are required. The successful candidate will be an instructional leader who can build relationships with teachers and work with them to implement research-based instructional practices in their classrooms. A strong foundation in professional development is a plus. The Middle School Instructional Facilitator will have a clear passion for the work of educating children. Experience and success in implementing strategies to reduce the achievement gap are critical.
Compensation: The School District of University City offers a competitive minimum salary of $49,000 commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as graduate tuition reimbursement. This will be an exempt, Teacher's Contract position, with a 47 day instructional duties stipend. The start date is July 23, 2012.
