  This is for the Instructional Assistant Pool job C ($12.51 per hour). 

Assignments can be at any grade level and may range from 2-8 hours.

This position might include assignments that would support the following types of classrooms:

  • Resource Room: academic pull out or push in instruction (ie helping students with reading , writing and math)
  • SLC/B (Self Contained Learning Center - Behavior) and TLC (Transitional Learning Center:  supporting students with behavioral needs (ie inattention, physical disruption, social difficulties)
  • SLC/A (Self Contained Learning Center - Academic):  supporting students with severe academic challenges not supported in a Resource Room.
  • ATP - Adult Transition Program:  Post High School Program for students learning real world skills such as public transportation, shopping, cooking.

*Some positions may include bathroom and toileting assistance, changing and feeding as well as behavioral and academic support.
