Applicants must possess a major or minor in the area of assignment, the required certification level (eg. elementary, secondary, and vocational, special education) and meet all applicable standards for a highly qualified teacher under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, including the NCLB final
regulations and the Michigan State Board of Education.
