EDUCATION:            Bachelor's Degree
CERTIFICATION:      Valid Indiana teaching certificate
SALARY:                  Commensurate with education and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Commitment to collaborating as a member of a professional learning community by actively participating and collaborating in the creation and implementation of the team's curriculum map, development of student work and assessments (uses data and other evidence to analyze student proficiencies of essential skills and make decisions about instructional strategies), design of collaborative interventions based on the data, and creation of monthly learning plans.
  • Commitment to use of consistent student progress monitoring and data collection to adjust student instruction to meet individual student needs.
  • Commitment to implementing the Indiana Science Initiative.
  • Commitment to collaborative teaching with a Special Education teacher.
  • Knowledge, ability, and use of technology - integrates the effective use of current and emerging digital tools into instruction.
  • Commitment to regularly communicate with parents/guardians.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
