Position Summary: The successful candidate will possess successful experience with differentiated instructional strategies in reading, writing and mathematics. Applicants for this position must have extensive experience with a variety of effective instructional strategies in reading including direct instruction. Knowledge of ongoing assessment and progress-monitoring of students is essential. The successful candidate for this position will be able to work closely and collaborate with Principal, Literacy Coach, Instructional Support Team and colleagues on matters such as instructional strategies, ongoing assessment, curriculum and data analysis. Candidate will be open to learning and implementing new instructional techniques. Successful candidate will work to build strong relationships with families and staff necessary to meet the social, emotional and instructional needs of each student.
