Description: Mathematics Coordinator
Qualifications: Valid Illinois Teaching Certification with a Master Degree in Mathematics or Teaching and a minimum of 5 years teaching experience. The position requires the ability to engage teachers in intensive professional development; assist teachers in the implementation of the new Illinois Learning Standards; provide leadership for mathematics across the school district; assist and support teachers and principals with the analysis and interpretation of student mathematics performance data; and engage parents in the mathematics program. In addition, this individual will assist in designing and implementing mathematics intervention programs and implementing the problem solving model. This position requires proven ability to work in a collaborative atmosphere as part of an instructional team. District 16 is seeking a creative productive individual who will be able to assist in maintaining an excellent mathematics educational program and high standards of student performance.
Working Conditions: PreK-8 Elementary Public School District in DuPage County . Salary and benefits are regionally competitive.
