Valid Illinois Teaching Certification with a Master
Degree in Mathematics or Teaching and a minimum of 5
years teaching experience.
requires the ability to engage teachers in intensive
professional development; assist teachers in the
implementation of the new Illinois Learning
Standards; provide leadership for mathematics across
the school district; assist and support teachers and
principals with the analysis and interpretation of
student mathematics performance data; and engage
parents in the mathematics program. In addition, this
individual will assist in designing and implementing
mathematics intervention programs and implementing
the problem solving model. This position requires
proven ability to work in a collaborative atmosphere
