PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Assist in the efficient operation of the front office and recordkeeping for campus personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
1. High school diploma or higher
2. Meet state certification requirements
Special Knowledge/Skills:
1. Satisfactory score on MCISD clerical test in all categories
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Type reports, correspondence, and other materials as needed.
2. Compile payroll data such as hours worked, and employee identification numbers, from times sheets and other records to prepare biweekly payroll and monthly payroll.
3. Prepare computer input forms, enters data into computer files.
4. Review wages and hours computed, corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.
5. Keep accurate records of all staff absences on a daily basis.
6. Prepare absence reports for biweekly and monthly personnel.
7. Keep record of leave pay, nonworking days and vacations and record on employee files.
8. Process reports on attendance, overtime/comp time, supplements.
9. Enter supplements for extra-duty pay, substitutes and security officers.
10. Issue and maintain listing of student parking permits.
11. Serve as back up for activity clerk (deposits).
12. Serve as back up for principal’s secretary.
13. Assist in distribution of mail.
14. Perform all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or others.
15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Campus Principal.
