DESCRIPTION:
Assist each participating student
to achieve his/her highest level of skill in a particular
sport, gain appreciation for the values of discipline and
sportsmanship, and develop an increased level of
self-esteem.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must meet the CT State
Department of Education's athletic coach certification
requirements, which include Standard First Aid with CPR.
Applicants should be thoroughly acquainted with the sport and
be able to teach the sport's fundamental skills. Preference
will be given to applicants who have previous experience in
coaching and swimming.
