Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School is seeking a Instructional Technology Coach for the 2012 - 2013 school year. This is a full time position working a 10 month contract. A candidate with a Virginia Teaching License is preferred but we will consider candidates with other credentials depending on experiences.
The successful candidate will work with the teaching staff to assist with all aspects of technology integration. This person may assist staff in designing technology infused lessons, teaching staff how to use specific equipment and tools such as: iPad apps, instructional programs, smart boards, etc. At times, the coach may also respond to low level technical needs - unlocking programs, unjamming machines, recalibrating boards, uploading software, resetting projectors, and basic technical help for the staff. A qualified technician is available to handle high level infrastructure needs.
