Position Title: Associate Principal (Full-time Equivalency: 1.0)
Current Location: Ithaca High School
Brief Description: Assist the Principal in encouraging, supervising, and evaluating teachers and other staff; planning and implementing a program delivering a world class education for our students. Establish and maintain a level of discipline and morale that promotes a climate for productive learning. Communicate with families and community members to inform others about school programs and student successes. Utilize current educational theory, teaching techniques and materials to make decisions that improve the growth and achievement of students. Become knowledgeable about school operations and assist in long-range planning. Interact with colleagues and the leadership team in a manner that demonstrates loyalty to and concern for the school and District.

Required Qualifications:

Possession of (or proof of eligibility for) New York State certification as a School District Administrator, School District Leader, School Administrator/Supervisor, or School Building Leader.
