Description:  Instructor of Vocational Agriculture - Agricultural Mechanics

Location:  Middletown High School - Middletown Regional Vocational Agriculuture Education Center

Qualifications: Applicant should have experience through employment in the area of Agriculutural Mechanics or related agricultural occupations.  Applicant should be in position to be certified or currently be certified by the Connecticut State Department of education to teach Vocational Agriculture Education (041).  Applicant should have the ability to meet with and establish good relationships with those involved in the agriculture community.  Applicant must have the ability to plan and develop curriculum materials based on needs of students and agriculture community, and possess satisfactory skills in instructional methods.  The applicant should be able to work as a team with other instructors in the Vocational Agriculture Center and follow directives of Department Chairman.
