Certified School Nurse - Part-time (.5)

Qualifications:           

•          Illinois Type 73 Pupil Personnel Services Certificate
•          Registered Nurse, Licensed in Illinois
•          Current First Aid and CPR program completion
•          Illinois Certification as a Vision and Hearing Screening Technician
•          Prior professional nursing experience, preferably in pediatric, adolescent, community, and mental health nursing, and health program management.
•          Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•          Strong organization and management skills.
•          Excellent interpersonal skills
•          Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with staff, administrators, students, and parents
•          Responsible, honest, tactful, able to maintain confidentiality, and be of good character.

Salary:                        According to Negotiated Agreement with Gower Education Association
