Migrant Education Instructional Assistant:  Responsibilities include:   identify and recruit families and students for Migrant Education services by contacting local nurseries, camp owners, managers, local businesses, and through home visits.  Provide support to families which include U.S. school system orientation, family outreach, instructional support; act as liaison/interpreter for families and school personnel to develop trust; and provide information to food services for free lunch enrollment.  Accurately fill out Certificates of Eligibility and track cumulative reports.  Maintain communication with Educational Service District Migrant support staff regarding new and ending enrollments in the Migrant program.  Attend Migrant recruiter meetings.  Meet with North Clackamas School district Migrant program coordinator. Perform other related duties as assigned.  Requirements include:  must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Oregon driver’s license and reliable transportation; must be bilingual, Spanish required; must have computer skills, organizational skills, and good oral and written communication
