Job Title: PART TIME (.5 FTE) School Psychologist - DISTRICTWIDE
Job Description: A part-time (.5 FTE) School Psychologist. Meets with study teams including administrators, parents and teachers. Administers assessments and supports Response to Intervention (RTI) process at each assigned school site. Interprets and synthesizes test data. Writes professional and parent friendly Evaluation Reports (ER). This position commences with the 2012-2013 school year on August 27, 2012.
Qualifications: Ability to participate as part of an evaluation team under the direction of the Special Education Case Facilitator. Knowledge of standardized test tools for ability, behavior and functional assessments. Knowledge of intervention strategies and data collection for academic and behavior concerns. Knowledge of ELL nondiscriminatory practices in assessments involving culture and language differences. Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to collect, interpret and report data. Knowledge of due process procedures and MN Dept. of Education disability criteria. Ability to work in a highly collaborative model.
Licensure: Masters level School Psychology Degree
Minnesota Department of Education School Psychology License or Limited License for School Psychology Intern
