Position: High Potential Teacher (.40 FTE)

Start date: August 27, 2012

Required Qualifications:
1. Must posses MN Teaching license, K-6
2. Knowledge of the nature and needs of gifted students, including differentiation strategies, assessment, and affective issues
3. Willingness to seek out, identify, and advocate for underrepresented populations, including culturally diverse students
4. Ability to work collaboratively
5. No physical limitations
Desired Qualifications:
1. Minimum three years' teaching experience
2. Experience working with gifted and talented students
3. Gifted and talented education certificate, or coursework
4. Excellent communications skills
5. Self-motivation and flexibility
6. Ability and willingness to provide coaching, training, and support on differentiation
