SUMMARY:
Will work with students, teachers, and parents to reduce the
number of suspensions, expulsions and exclusions of students by
performing the following duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Sixty semester hours; or an Associate degree or higher; or
successfully pass the Para Pro assessment exam and at least three
year's experience in counseling and/or youth work required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor assigned students' behavior.
Furnish assigned students appropriate work based on factors
such as mix of classes and IEPs.
Tutor students as indicated.
Maintain log of served students.
Call parents or guardians as appropriate to discuss student
behavior issues.
Collect student work.
Prepare and maintain a file on each student.
Salary: $14.57 - $18.77 per hour

School, Key Learning Community, and Arsenal Technical High
School.
