Qualifications:
Required:
-
Master's degree or higher
-
Colorado Department of Education - Special Services License with Speech/Language Pathologist endorsement
- American Speech and Hearing Association assessment certification or willing to obtain appropriate ASHA certificate
Preferred:
-
Identify students with speech or language disabilities
-
Diagnose and appraise specific speech or language disabilities
-
Refer for medical or other professional attention necessary for the habilitation of speech or language disabilities
-
Provide speech and language services for the habilitation or prevention of communicative disabilities
-
Consultation, collaboration, and guidance of parents, teachers, and students regarding speech and language disabilities
-
Attendance and involvement in staffings, annual reviews, and triennial reviews, in compliance with Federal and State rules and regulations
-
Responsible for the establishment, maintenance, revision, and review of assessments, reports, goals and objectives, for students identified and served with speech and language disabilities
-
Willingness to collaborate within general education classrooms
- Perform any and all other responsibilities as assigned by the Director
