BASIC FUNCTION/PURPOSE
To work with the building administration and the hall monitor
team to provide a safe and orderly environment, in order that
the students and faculty may accomplish their educational
goals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The employee performing the duties of this
position is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, hear, bend,

The employee may be occasionally required to
manually lift, move, or carry up to 50 pounds.
The employee is required to interact with staff
and meet the demands of several different people.
The employee is responsible for the work output
of others.
The employee occasionally works extended
hours.
Vision abilities required by this job include
close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the
ability to adjust focus.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
(This list is not all-inclusive)
-
Supervise areas where students gather, both
in and outside the building, before during and after
school, including lunch periods.
Hall monitors will be assigned
extra-curricular activities during the school year.
-
Supervise and monitor student
traffic during the passing periods.
-
Monitor hallways and outside grounds while
classes are in session.
Assure that all students in the halls during
this period have passes.

Assist administrators and
teachers in escorting students to the office, lockers,
class, and out of the building.
-
To sign in, issue visitor's badges, escort
visitors as needed.
Insure that there are not unauthorized
person in the building.

To maintain effective radio
and written communication.
-
Assist administrators and
teachers in maintaining a positive learning
environment.

The hall monitor team will
work with the administration to conduct periodic searches
of the campus.

Perform other duties assigned
by an administrator and/or Secondary Security
Specialist.

Salary
Range:
Pay will range from $10.97 to $11.97 per
hour
Evaluation
Frequency:
Job performance will be evaluated a minimum of
1 time per year.
