NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION
:
Agriscience and
Natural Resources Teacher
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
Must have earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies
and Agriscience, or
Agriscience and Natural Resources, or a related field.
2.
Must possess or be eligible for a valid Michigan Secondary
Teaching Certificate with an
occupational (vocational) endorsement.
3.
Endorsement Required:
·
HX - Agriscience and Natural
Resources
·
DA - Biology or DI -Integrated
Science or DX
·
VA - Vocational Agriculture
(Agriscience and Natural Resources)
4.
Must meet Federal Highly Qualified Teacher requirements.
5.
Must have an electronic fingerprint clearance from a criminal
history record check.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
:
1.
Experience with
youth leadership and the FFA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited
to: teaching course (s) through a CTE consortium related to
agriculture, natural resources, environmental, veterinary
science, and agribusiness; supervising the FFA chapter and
related activities, programs, and conventions.
