Job Title: Job Development & Placement Facilitate
The Education & Careers Job Development and Placement Facilitator will assist school district personnel in expanding career opportunities for students that have been referred to the Team Transition Program for students 18 years of age and older, by developing and placing in community job sites and providing direct supervision. The Job Development and Placement Facilitator will coordinate the duties of job coaches. The Job Development and Placement Facilitator will be responsible for overseeing the development of individualized training support plans, provision of customized instruction and structured intervention techniques and strategies to assist the student in learning to perform job tasks to the employer specifications. The Job Development and Placement Facilitator is responsible for overseeing the completion of related assessment, data collection, turning in daily documentation and other services to track progress towards independence. Reports To: Executive Director of Education & Careers, Sharon Slover.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Three or more years experience working with special populations and transition.
Business, human resources, marketing or other related field.
Licensure & Certifications:
IL Teaching Certification
Working Conditions:
Work may be performed in a variety of work settings with varying levels of cleanliness, heat, noise, dust, odors/fumes, etc.
Must be willing to work a flex schedule including weekend, nights, holidays, and adjusting work day hours.
Must be able to travel 100% of the time through varies counties.
Must be willing and have the ability to adapt to new assignments and situations on short notice.
