SPECIAL EDUCATION INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE

 

Antioch Elementary School is seeking part-time, one-on-one special education aide.

 

Qualifications

  • Paraprofessional certificate or ability to attain (Teaching Certificate acceptable)
  • Patience, flexibility and perseverance
  • Acceptance of diverse learning styles and needs
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist student within the school setting-behaviorally, emotionally and academically
  • Assist with modifications to the general education curriculum
  • Provide supervision to student in nonacademic settings
  • Assist student with assignments and activities as provided by the general education and/or special education teacher
  • Carry out misc. support tasks as assigned
