Description: Elementary Resource Manager
Job Summary: To provide in-depth support to the principal and staff of the elementary school through management of district provided resources and facilities and equipment under the direction of the principal.
Qualifications:
a) Monitor and implement requests for all community school and extra-curricular requests requiring building facilities and/or equipment. Schedule rooms/facilities and notify appropriate source of any equipment or special work arrangements necessary.
b) Maintain an accounting system for all building funds, accounts and monies. Process purchase orders, keep ledger up-to-date, report monthly balances.
c) Implement paraprofessional schedules.
d) Keep physical asset inventory and process repair requests.
e) Communicate transportation needs to Transportation Department; follow district policy for student disciplining problems.
f) Order and disburse supplies and materials as needed.
g) Schedule and monitor health and safety problems.
h) Verify paraprofessional hours, code rate of pay, date and forward to principal for signature.
i) Coordinate and manage assessment materials for the MCA and MAP assessments.
j) Maintain records for the Targeted Services before and after-school programs, which will include paperwork for classes offered, students served and the budget.
k) Responsibilities will include the physical movement of materials such as text books and other supplies.
l) Oversee the schedules of lunch and recess ESP's which may include student supervision.
m) The person selected will be a member of the office staff, which will include greeting parents, answering phones, supervising students, and responding to needs of staff and families with office support.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Education or training with budgets, accounting and computer training would be helpful.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
1) Extensive skills in developing and maintaining record systems.
2) Knowledge of UFARS budgeting and coding system.
3) Knowledge of district policies as they affect the general operation of the building.
4) Human relation strengths including helping, serving, and exchanging of information.
5) Accuracy with mathematical skills and record keeping.
6) Flexibility.
7) Professional communication skills both written and oral.
Salary Range: Per contract
Work Year: 219 days; Part-Time 20 hours/week
