Combined Athletic Director and High School Social Studies
Teaching position 2012-2013 school year.
Social Studies
(High School - part time) - certified 6 - 12. Certified in
one or more of the social studies.
Also prefer additional certification(any
area). Must meet all State teaching
requirements.
Athletic Director
(Jr./Sr. High School - part time) Manage
athletic programs for all Jr./Sr. high school students.
Communicate effectively with students,
staff and parents. Manage Building Use and Calendar.
Arrange staffing
for all home athletic events.
Attend Athletic Committee & Booster Meetings. Schedule
games and officials for
athletic programs. Complete all
District and State paperwork. Oversee Athletic
Budget. Order supplies, uniforms
and equipment and maintain inventory.
Recommend Coaches for Employment and Evaluate Coaches.
Apply
effective conflict resolution
strategies. Attend Athletic events as designated and
perform other administrative duties
as necessary or as assigned by
Principal. Qualified candidates will hold
a bachelor's degree or equivalent in
training and/or experience. High
School varsity coaching experience and work experience in a
secondard school
environment preferred. Basic computer
skills, organizational skills, written communication, verbal
communication
and decision-making skills required.
