Latch Key Director - Monday through Friday on school days only from 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. or until last student leaves, plus one hr/day for paperwork completion. Located in the Dryden Elementary School.
Must be at least 21 years of age and have a bachelor's degree or higher in a child-related field or Associate's degree in a child-related field with 480 hours of experience, or acceptable equivalent as defined by the State of Michigan. Two semester hours in child care administration from an accredited college or university or other course equivalent as defind by the State of Michigan is required. Must have current certification in infant, child and adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid.
Responsibilities include supervision of three through twelve-year-old children. Activities may include, but not limited to crafts, games, gym use, movies, computer use, outside play and reading. Must be able to initiate activities, get along with children and play on their level, and have high energy level and enthusiasm. Must be able to maintain good rapport with parents. Must complete 12 clock hours of annual training as required. Must complete all paperwork as required by the District and the State of Michigan.
