SALARY RANGE:
$84,801.00 to $114,518.00
QUALIFICATIONS
:
1.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college;
master's degree preferred
2.
Successful experience in the field of Business Management;
supervisory experience preferred.
3.
Strong skills in business system implementation and accounting
procedural background.
4.
CSBO (Chief School Business Official) endorsement or CPA
(Certified Public Accountant) preferred.
5.
Demonstrates collaborative skills to work as part of an
Administrative Leadership Team.
6.
Excellent communication, presentation, and technology skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
:
1.
Assists in the preparation of the annual school district budget
and the long-range financial plan.
2.
Assists in planning and preparation of the annual tax levy.
3.
Supervises the hiring, training and evaluation process of
Custodial/Maintenance, Payroll and Accounts Payable
employees.
4.
Represents the district in interpretation and implementation of
negotiated service collective bargaining agreement.
5.
Assists in the supervision and evaluation of Buildings &
Grounds Supervisors.
6.
Assists in preparing monthly reports for the Board of
Education.
7.
Administers the district health, dental, flexible spending and
other employee benefits plans.
8.
Supervises the purchasing of the districts supplies, materials
and capital outlay in accordance with district policy and state
purchasing rules.
9.
Assists with all bidding documents, including notice and
instructions to bidders, specifications, and form of
proposal.
10.
Receives and evaluates formal bids and make recommendations for
the award of contracts for school board approval.
11.
Reviews and monitors all purchase requisitions to determine
correctness of information, calculations, coding to proper
accounts, etc.
12.
Provides technical and procedural assistance to Administration
and Building level management to ensure that purchasing policies,
regulations, and procedures are implemented and utilized in a
consistent manner throughout the district.
13.
Maintains the District's fixed asset record.
14.
Implements a District Purchasing and Inventory System.
15.
Assists in the selection and implementation of a new business
system.
16.
Performs other related duties and assignments as assigned by
supervisor/designee.
