1084-1086 Psychologist

There are THREE 1.0 positions available

This is a Licensed School Psychologist 1.0 position.  Locations will be at various units within the district

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• ·         A valid Oregon License in School Psychology
• ·         A valid driver’s license and insurance
• ·         Knowledge of special education laws
• ·         Experience conducting comprehensive educational and psychological evaluations
• ·         Knowledge of research-based academic  and social skills curriculum and practices
• ·         Knowledge of assessment of academic skills, including curriculum-based measurement
• ·         Experience conducting Functional Behavioral  Assessments (FBA) and developing functionally based Behavior  S      Support Plans (BSP)
• ·         Knowledge of school wide Positive Behavioral Intervention Systems (PBIS)
• ·         Understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI)
• ·         Ability and commitment to cultural competence and respect for diversity
• ·         Ability to collaborate with school personnel to implement school-wide initiatives
• ·         Work harmoniously with others and communicate effectively orally and in writing with students, parents and staff.
• ·         Ability to facilitate difficult meetings where conf1icting interests or opinions are present
• ·         Consultation skills that support the :implementation of team plans that improve student success
• ·         Experience coordinating with outside clinical providers and /or wraparound services
• ·         Ability to provide counseling -support when needed
• ·         Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate appropriate time management skills
