POSITION:
Title One Instructional Assistant

hours/week (no benefits)
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
To assist the classroom teacher in educating
students
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
Educational Requirements:
Must be highly qualified, with two years of college or
passing score on Praxis. Teacher license
preferred.
2.
Possess Skills and Knowledge:
Communicates effectively with students, staff, and
parents. Has basic knowledge of how to
instruct
students.
3.
Experience:
At least one year experience in early childhood programs
(i.e. day care, community programs), or experience as an
elementary
classroom assistant, or post-high school
work in education or related field.
4.
Certification:
None.
5.
Other:
To maintain a positive relationship with pupils, staff,
parents, and the community.
