Teacher of the Handicapped/Highly Qualified Social Studies

Availability: September 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013
Qualifications: New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate required; teaching experience preferred. Must possess knowledge of Core Curriculum Content Standards, UBD and DI, integration of technology into the curriculum. Current with middle school philosophy and middle school department structure.
Responsibility:
To provide special education support to children in an in-class support/resource center setting. The teacher of the handicapped would co-teach collaboratively with the regular educaion teacher to provide in-class support for identified classified students, and shall provide replacement resource center instruction.
