Instructional/Supervisory Education Support Professional

 

Location:        Parkside Elementary School

Status:           Part-time

Schedule:       3.75 hrs/day, 5 days/week; 10:15 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  

Beginning:      September 4, 2012

Deadline for Applications:   July 26, 2012 (3:00 p.m.)      

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Under the supervision of the principal: 

  • Instructional Support - working with small groups of children or with individual students.
  • Supervisory - Supervision of students during lunch.
  • Support students in social and academic skill development as directed by classroom teachers.
  • Other related duties as assigned or apparent.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Previous experience working with children preferred.
  • Desire and ability to work with children and adults in a busy environment.
  • Flexible, punctual and willing to learn new things.
