  The GenNET Teacher - American Sign Language is responsible for teaching in the assigned area and implements instructional activities for students through the use of interactive video, computers and other instructional technology available in the distance learning environment.  Responsible for following established curriculum outcomes and adopting instructional deliver strategies to teach in the assigned area. 

 

One (1) part-time, temporary academic-year position available for the 2012-13 school year, contracted through a third-party employer 

 

American Sign Language - Up to 35 hours per week, depending upon student enrollment

$31.29 per hour; no fringe benefits

 

Bachelor's degree required.  Valid Michigan teacher certificate in secondary education required.  Must meet requirements for highly qualified teacher in deaf education with a K-12 endorsement in Sign Language (SL) required.  Experience in a distance learning environment preferred.
