MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A valid Texas teaching certificate is preferred. Incumbent must have three (3) to five (5) years of related experience and demonstrated computer skills.
 
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
 
This position requires the ability to apply knowledge of testing requirements and state mandates related to testing.  A complete understanding of state, local, and federal laws and regulations related to testing is preferred.  Incumbent will act as primary contact for testing-related issues on a campus. Incumbent must have the ability to coordinate testing and data analysis issues on assigned campus and to ensure quality control procedures are in place.  Incumbent must have good knowledge of computers and standard software, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.  Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively, which will include working effectively as a team with other campus and central office staff on state-mandated issues and other tests.  Incumbent should be able to organize and maintain records, manage time and resources effectively and efficiently.  This position will require skills in planning and adaptive thinking.
 
JOB PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITY:
 
This position is responsible for providing support and guidance to campus staff and central administration during testing periods.  Incumbent will serve as coordinator for a campus for all mandated tests. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
§  Supports staff on assigned campus in fulfilling responsibilities associated with various state- and district-mandated testing programs.
 
§  Manages test materials in a secure environment.
 
§  Establishes timelines to ensure testing program deadlines are met.
 
§  Works with staff on assigned campus to ensure appropriate testing procedures are followed and test security is maintained.
 
§  Holds training sessions for campus staff with testing involvement and generates supporting documentation for training.
 
§  Generates accurate reports for district-mandated tests in a timely manner.
 
§  Coordinates and completes campus-level data analysis related to testing, scores, and student progress.
 
§  Interprets testing requirements for staff on assigned campus.
 
§  Provides testing information to central administration to assist in planning and program improvement.
 
§  Administers individual or group assessments as needed.
 
§  Serves on district committees, providing information as required to district decision-makers.
 
§  Responds to ad-hoc data requests as needed.
 
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:
 
Performs other related duties as assigned; however, all employees are expected to comply with lawful directives in rare situations driven by need where a team effort is required.
 
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
 
This position requires moderate physical effort.  Incumbent may be required to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.  Work is generally conducted in an office environment.  This position may involve rare exposure to blood or body fluids.  Regular attendance is required for this position.   
 
PERSONAL WORK RELATIONSHIPS:
 
This position reports directly to the principal on the assigned campus.  This position will have regular contact with students, campus staff and administrators, and other AISD employees.
