Location: Butler, Lawrence, Mercer
Achievement Matters is a one-on-one tutoring company serving students in multiple states, working through the NCLB/SES program. As a Community Outreach Assistant you will be recruiting students for our Supplemental Educational Program working with the No Child Left Behind Act. The Community Outreach Recruiter will meet with families and provide information regarding Achievement Matters SES Program and enroll qualified students that meet the eligibility requirements.

Basic Duties & Responsibilities:
-Identify families with eligible children who attend Title 1 Schools
-Recruit students by reaching out to parents at Local Neighborhood Activities, Events, Fairs and similar Locations.
-Collect and review applications to ensure that all necessary information is included.
-Meet with families and educate them on their eligibility for our SES Services.
-Enroll students into SES Program
- Recruit students in various regions.
-Work with a recruiting team.
-Assist Area Manager with additional recruitment initiatives.
-Willing and able to travel within various territories/districts
-Represent Achievement Matters in an ethical and professional manner.
-Maintain confidentiality.
-Provide Daily and Weekly list of locations as well as names and numbers of students recruited.

Qualifications:
- FULLY Bilingual in Spanish
- Minimum High School Diploma or AA degree.-Previous recruiting/marketing/sales experience
- Experience working with an SES provider is a plus
-Available on Weekends and able to work flexible times and schedules
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours/week-Highly motivated professional with strong marketing and sales skills
-Must have reliable transportation and consistent Internet access
-Positive and upbeat attitude
-Strong Communication Skills
-Strong ties to the community including local Community Based Organizations
-Clean record with no criminal history and credible standing in the community-Self-starter
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
-Have an energetic, friendly personality to speak to parents and community members
- Be a team player

WORK SCHEDULE:
- Part-time/Full-time
-Seven days a week
- Times and days may vary according to your schedule

*This is a contractual position
-A number of permanent full-time positions may be offered to those who excel during this period.
