BRIEF DESCRIPTION / POSITION SUMMARY:
The need for personnel in this position is based on student needs, as defined by IEPs, throughout the school year. The paraprofessional will assist classroom teachers and/or instructional support service teachers in meeting the instructional needs of assigned students. The paraprofessional may also assist students with job performance skills in the community. In this postion you will communicate on a regular basis with teachers/case managers and participate in team meetings for the purpose of monitoring a students progress. You may also perform record keeping and clerical functions for the purpose of supporting the teacher, ensuring up-to-date reference trail and/or providing necessary records/materials. Position is full-time and includes benefits. Salary based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
1. Experience and/or demonstrated ability working with students. 2. Skills in curriculum adaption, behavior management techniques and data collection. 3. Ability to schedule activities, collate data, and use job-related equipment. Flexibility is required to work with others in a wide variety of circumstances. 4. Paraprofessional certificate.
