Required Qualifications:
1. Valid MN teaching license
2. Must work well with elementary aged students of various
cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
3. Must have a strong desire and skills to collaborate
4. Must be organized
5. Good human relation skills
6. Must be willing to share responsibility for all students
meeting high standards
Desired Qualifications:
1. Responsive classroom training or experience
2. Reading and Writing workshop training or experience
3. Understanding of formative assessment and its impact on
student learning
4. A high level of understanding of culturally responsive
teaching
5. Experience in Professional Learning Communities
