Qualifications:
* Must posses a valid food service sanitation certificate
* Strong communication skills
* Experience in quantity cooking
* Ability to follow purchasing procedures
* Ability to relate well to staff and students
* Ability to adjust standardized recipes for given lunch count
* Knowledge of nutritional requirements of children as it relates to the Federal guidelines of school lunch
* Ability to follow through to ensure that consistent and quality food products are prepared and served
Responsibilities:
* Keep accurate records
* Plan and assist in preparation of foods using methods which retain nutritive value
* Ensure that sanitary practices are followed in food preparation, service/clean up
* Coordinate and oversee food service operation
