Grades: 1st through 5th Job Summary: Teaching reading skills to small groups of students who are need of intervention in the area of reading and work with other staff members to support literacy instruction. Qualifications: Able to meet Illinois requirement as a Reading teacher, Type 10 Certificate in Reading, or Illinois Type (03) or (04) Teaching Certificate with a Reading Endorsement Minimum of 5 years experience with primary age students. Familiarity with multiple literacy assessments such as QRI and ISEL Demonstrated use of a balanced literacy program Demonstrated use of using assessment data to inform instruction in small guided reading groups Application Procedure:
