SUBSTITUTE SECRETARY
Members of the Substitute Secretary staff are a vital part of our school system. Substitute secretaries’ administrative support is key to the continued success of all our students and staff.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing day-to-day operations of the office, including, but not limited to:
- Meeting the needs of all who call or visit the school office
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Data entry
- Filing
- Correspondence
- Preparing administrative reports as directed
- Answering phones and doors
QUALIFICATIONS
· High School Diploma Required
· Proficient Computer Skills in Word and Excel
· Experience with Student Databases preferred
· Ability to maintain confidentiality about all office, employee and student matters
· Ability to work well and communicate with wide variety of people (students, parents, community members, teachers, administrators, and other district staff)
· Must have outstanding phone etiquette
· High standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity.
SALARY
Hourly rate: $12.00 per hour
