Additional Requirements:
Candidate must qualify for “No Child Left Behind” certification.
Desired training and experience: Bachelor’s degree in social work, child and family services, child development, human development, pupil services, education or related field. Previous experience in Head Start as an employee, parent or volunteer. Fluent in speaking and writing the English and Spanish languages.
Required training and experience: High school diploma; Associate degree or additional university level coursework, training and/or work or volunteer experience in social work, education, family services, early childhood development or pupil services. Basic computer literacy skills.
The Bi-Lingual Family Service Facilitator, under direction of the Family Service Coordinator, will support the parent involvement effort of the Head Start & Early Learning programs; will provide family support; will promote effective communication with families including translation as needed.
