Part-Time School Health Clerk

 

W.C. Petty Elementary School is seeking a Part-time school health clerk for the 2012/2013 school year.

Qualifications:

·         Valid Illinois nursing license, LPN acceptable, RN preferred

·         Excellent organizational skills

·         Professional verbal and written communication skills

·         Child-centered focus

·         Ability to perform as part of a school office team

 

Responsibilities:

·         Perform all nursing duties  consistent with LPN/RN licensure

·         Administer first aide

·         Respond to medical emergencies

·         Administer medication

·         Participate in the development and implementation of 504 Plans

·         Provide information to school staff to address the unique medical needs of students

·         Maintain detailed records

·         Submit state reporting data as required

·         Communicate professionally with parents

·         Participate in necessary professional development to maintain current licensure

·         Perform school office duties as requested
