Description: Technology Technician I
Job Summary:
Perform skilled repair and maintenance of all technology-related equipment, as well as, technical support for all technology related systems. Provide technical support to users (staff and students) including, but not limited to, technical advice on equipment setup and operation, general troubleshooting, and software installation. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and repair manuals to provide required technical support. Ability to communicate effectively is important.
Qualifications: Graduation from a two-year college or technical school and one year experience; or equivalent preferred. A+ and Microsoft certifications are required and must be obtained within one year of hire date.
Salary:State salary grade 61 until certifications are obtained, then grade 64
