THE
POSITION
Candidate should have experience working with special needs children, preferably in an inclusion setting; dual certification (Elementary School Teacher and Teacher of the Handicapped/Students with Disabilities Certficates) a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
1.
New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate required.
2.
Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
3.
Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required criminal history background
check and proof of U.S.
citizenship or legal resident alien status.

accordance with the course of study approved by the Board of Education
approved curriculum.
