  • Knowledge of software applications, preferred
  • Experience working with Outside Agencies and/or vendors preferred 

Position Summary:  The District Chairperson(s) for Student Services will oversee various aspects of the PLATO Learning Program within the Christina School District.  This Program services the needs of high school students who are 16 years or older and need to recover credits, students who are precluded from attending the comprehensive school due to alternative placement or expulsion, and students who meet district criteria and desire an educational option other than the comprehensive high school.


Performance Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation of the PLATO Learning Program.
  • Schedule and monitor PLATO teacher training.
  • Provide regular communication to the principals concerning teacher/staff participation in the program trainings.
  • Monitor and submit budget updates for the PLATO Learning Program.
  • Assist teachers and others working in the PLATO Learning Program.
  • Serve as contact and district liaison for PLATO consultants and representatives.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the program and its components.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Other related duties as assigned
