  Qualifications: Proper Connecticut teaching certification required (013); skilled professional with excellent communication, clarity of instruction, data-based decision making, team work, and ability to assume a start of year teaching position and create a seamless transition;experience with Smartboards and technology helpful.  Must meet Federal Highly Qualified Teacher requirements.


Responsibilities: Provide instruction to grade three students and all responsibilities associated with a teaching position in Avon Public Schools.

Terms of Employment: Position to begin on or about August 29,2012 and continue through December 10, 2012.  per diem rate of pay. No employee benefits associated with this temporary position.
