Position: Bilingual Teacher
Pre-School Program – School District 105
Full-time, beginning August, 2012
Qualifications:
-Standard Early Childhood (Type 04) Certificate with ESL and Bilingual endorsements/approval (Spanish).- (LBSI endorsement a plus).
-Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish
-Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work cooperatively and productively
-Demonstrated success in working with students from low-income backgrounds and understanding of the early learner.
Responsibilities:
-Provide bilingual (Spanish/English) instruction to pre-school Students ages 3-5.
-Provide guidance in selection/use of textbooks and instructional materials.
-Provide early literacy and math instruction for students.
-Participate in ongoing professional growth opportunities
-Participate in district activities promoting ESL/Bilingual education .
