Qualifications:

 

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated appropriate training/experience with at-risk students and families

 

Preferred:

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education
  • Non-violent crisis intervention training
  • Demonstrated skills in behavior management techniques in a school setting
  • Demonstrated ability to record precise required student grant data

Contract Terms:

183 Work Days

7 hour work day (hours flexible)

Salary - $16,654

Benefits fall under Schedule B

 

Description:

1. Assist students in being successful in the school setting;

2. Work with families in addressing attendance issues, academic issues, and behavior issues of identified students;

3. Work with school personnel in addressing the needs of students;

4. Collaborate with Special Education staff;

5. Communicate with school personnel and Special Education specialist;

6. Perform any and all other responsibilities as assigned by Special Education staff.
