TITLE:                 Elementary Secretary I (Part-time)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.      High school diploma.

2.      Good typing skills.

3.      Ability to operate common office machines, including computers.

4.      Good interpersonal skills and discretion.

5.      Good organizational skills.

6.      Good grammar and accurate arithmetic.

 

REPORTS TO:   Principal

 

JOB GOAL:        To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office so that the office’s maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

(The following are the essential fundamentals to include but not limited to the following job duties.)

1.      Performs duties as assigned by building administrator to assist building secretary.

2.      Carries out routine procedures.

3.      Assists with care of sick and injured children.

4.      Fills in for building secretary when she is absent.

5.      Performs other job related duties as assigned.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Wages, hours, terms, and conditions of employment pursuant to negotiated agreement.

 

CLASSIFICATION:

  II

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
