Description:
Program Support Assistant, EBD at Jackson Elementary - 6.25 hours a day on student days.
Grade 3, starting pay is $13.35 - $13.87 per hour.
Job Summary:
Provide educational support by working directly with students to increase their academic, behavioral, organizational, and study skills under the direction of the teacher(s).
Qualifications:
Position requires a H.S. diploma.
Prefer 2 years of post-secondary training or AA degree in child development.
Previous experience working in schools preferred.
Training for specific needs of the students in the program will be provided by the district.
Working Conditions:
Classroom environment.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
