Description:Program Support Assistant, LD/Physically Impaired at Jackson Elementary - 6 hours a day on student days
Job Summary:
Provide support by working directly with students to increase their academic, communication, independent participation, social, behavioral and study skills under the direction of the teacher(s).
Qualifications:
Requires H.S. diploma.
Prefer two years of post-secondary training or AA degree in child development.
Training for specific needs of students in program will be provided by district.
Working Conditions:Classroom environment.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
