Sunset Ridge School District 29 in Northfield, Illinois is currently seeking a teaching assistant to work with our K-3 team at Middlefork School. This position works collaboratively with general education staff, special education staff, and members of the technology department. Duties include supporting differentiation in the general education classroom, implementing individual and small group special education interventions, and facilitating student access to technology (e.g., Computer Lab, IPADS). Qualified applicants must currently hold a valid Illinois Teaching Certificate. Applicants should be tech users who have incorporated 21st century tools and applications into their everyday lives (e.g., laptops/desktops, mobile devices, interactive white boards, Google Apps, etc.).
