§
Plan, develop and implement lesson plans for
targeted small-group instruction that fulfill the
requirements of the district's instructional program
and show written evidence of preparations as required;
prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for
differences in student abilities and learning styles;
coordinate with instructional staff, including but not
limited to special education teachers, to modify
curricula as needed according to guidelines established
in Individual Education Plans (IEP) or Individual
Accommodation Plan (IAP).

Help students analyze and improve study methods
and habits; help achieve the improvement of all
students; conduct ongoing assessment of student
achievement through formal and informal testing; assume
responsibility and sponsor extracurricular activities
as appropriate.
§
Create a classroom environment conducive to
active and successful student learning and appropriate
for the physical, social, and emotional development of
students; manage student behavior.
§
Support teachers in the implementation of
research-based instructional strategies within the
general education classroom.
§
Establish and maintain effective open
communication with students, parents, teachers,
administrators and district level staff; participate in
staff professional learning
activities.
§
Collaborate with district level staff as
needed.
§
Select and implementation research-based
interventions with fidelity.
§
Assist in the collection of data to determine
the effectiveness of research-based interventions.
§
Complies with the Professional code of Ethics
and standard Practices for Texas Educators.
§
Perform other duties as assigned.
§
Conserve electricity as outlined in the
districts energy management plan.
